Interns are chosen by a selection process (resume and interview) which includes skills tests. The ideal candidates are students (at least the third year) at one of the following profiles: Computers, Automatics, Informatics, Cybernetics, Mathematics, Electronics, Telecommunications etc.

At the end of the internship program there is an evaluation based on the intern can be permanently hired in the Pentalog team.

The same will happen now – when we are integrating new persons, this time for the new agency in Cluj-Napoca, within the Department of Architecture and Development of Java/J2EE solutions.

What minimum knowledge you must have to participate?

Required:
- Good IT background, good results during studies;
- Basic knowledge in object-oriented programming;
- Knowledge of databases and SQL;
- English – advanced level.

A great advantage:
- Knowledge of French language;
- Knowledge of Java, experience with J2EE or other frameworks.

Selection for this position requires completing the following tests:

Your role in team :

Pentalog expands its development team through different projects. Your mission includes active involvement in developing and maintaining web-applications, e-Commerce and social networking sites using different frameworks.

The main activities that you will have in this position are:
- Development of new modules and expansion of the existing ones for web applications;
- Proposal of technical solutions and add new features;
- Maintenance of existing applications and new ones implemented by solving the possible errors and testing these modules;
- Writing technical specifications and reports.

Requirements :

- Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
- Confirmed experience in working on PHP based online applications, website projects:
- Knowledge of PHP5, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS;
- Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP);
- Very good knowledge of at least one of the associated frameworks is mandatory (Symfony, Zend, etc.);
- Working experience with databases: Postgres or MySQL;
- Fluency in English or French is mandatory.
