Job description:
Pentalog Group is looking for a new member in his team, an ambitious person and passionate for the Statistician post. Hierarchically attached to the technical department, the objective of this post is to contribute to optimize the activity of production department.
Mainly, the tasks list specific to this post include:
- Realization the statistical reports, production reports based on existing figures;
- Quantitative studies of forecasting regarding the work processes;
- Statistical analysis of data and interpretation of results to ensure validity of findings;
- Drafting statistical methodology of the studies;
- Interacting with people involved in data management to ensure that the data settings are in a suitable format;
- Support to other departments when informations or statistical processing are requested;
- Estimated calculations for the time required and resources to client projects;
- Checking parameters to ensure that the estimate time and resources offer maximum quality to the applications developed etc.
The post is located in one of the Pentalog agencies in Romania: Brasov, Bucuresti, Iasi or Sibiu.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate:
- Graduated the Faculty of Mathematics, Cybernetics, Engineering, Computer Science;
- Has knowledge of Access, SQL, Systat, SPSS;
- Has experience in developing statistics, reports, metrics;
- Is pleased to work with numbers and transform them into decision reports;
- Knows English and French.
