What is an internship at Pentalog and what opportunities does it bring?
Within the Internships Department, Pentalog trains young computer experts in the software testing field. In 2009, 54 interns were part of this Department of Pentalog, 74% of whom were employed in the company on specific projects at the end of the internship.
In 2010, 47 trainees were included in the internship program, of which 92% were further selected after an intensive training program, based on their results.
Those selected are those who have shown strong interest in developing better capacity to learn fast, perseverance and rigor. They responded positively to the opportunity offered to work side-to-side with specialists and experts from Pentalog, which currently share their experience of over 4, 6 or even 10 years of programming on various projects.
100% of trainees who entered the concrete projects are currently employed in the company, choosing to continue working on projects with world-class clients and learn new technologies through continuous training program.

The internship is remunerated and is Full-Time for a period of 3 months, during which the intern is trained and works independently or in team with other interns on a research and development project, under the guidance of the Technical Director.
Interns are chosen by a selection process that includes:
- Presenting a detailed CV;
- Description in your resume or separately in the presentation during the interview, a project in school or on your own, including details of: architecture design, technologies used, personal role in the project, the final utility of the application, – etc.;
- Interview with Pentalog specialists.

The ideal candidates are students (at least the third year) at one of the following profiles: Computers, Automatics, Informatics, Cybernetics, Mathematics, Electronics, Telecommunications etc.
At the end of the internship program there is an evaluation based on which it can be decided the hiring of the trainee within the Pentalog team.
The same will happen now – when integrating new persons in Pentalog’s agency from Brasov for application development in PHP. Along with a Team Leader, you will be involved in:
- Defining the architecture of an client application in PHP;
- Proposal of technical solutions;
- Development and testing;
- Creating reports.
What minimum knowledge base you must have to participate?
Required:
- An advanced level of IT knowledge gained during studies and / or extracurricular involvement in various projects;
- Understanding the life cycle of an IT project;
- Good knowledge of OOP;
- Working knowledge and experience (at least in seminars and labs) with PHP;
- Knowledge of databases: SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle;
- English – advanced level;
- Real curiosity and ability to learn quickly;
- Good communication skills and teamwork.
An advantage:
- Knowledge of French language;
- Any professional experience with other languages, with different associated development frameworks.
Knowledge to be gained during the internship:
