Romania-Brasov: ETL / Data Warehousing Junior Consultant (RBRA458)
Job description:
In order to extend our team for an existing project, Pentalog is looking for an ETL / Data Warehousing junior consultant. Very good database knowledge is mandatory. Experience in Talend (or similar ETL tools) is a real advantage, otherwise we are ensuring a training.
The client is an European leader in selling online cruises and the team for this project currently includes 9 persons: a project manager, an architect, a tester, a webmaster and 5 developers.
The collaboration with this client is open-end, in the dedicated team and they are working on many different projects with the average duration of 2-3 months.
Some of the technologies used: Java, J2EE, Web Services, MySQL, UML, Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat, JUnit, Xfire, Talend.
Working methodology used is inspired by Agile, emphasizing a high reactivity, continuous quality control and knowledge sharing.
You will have the following responsibilities:
- Automation of the exchange of files between various partners;
- Implementation of the Talend extraction treatments, processing and supplying the databases;
- Optimizing existing Talend treatments;
- Testing Talend treatments;
- Making technical documentation related to the completed treatments.

Requirements:
- Graduate of an IT faculty: Cybernetics, Informatics etc.;
- Knowledge of database theory, good level of SQL;
- Working experience with databases: MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle;
- Previous experience with Talend is a real advantage;
- Knowledge of Java language is an advantage;
- Experience in handling CSV and XML files is an advantage;
- English – mandatory;
- French – an advantage;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Teamwork spirit.
