For an important player on the financial and banking market, insurance and telecommunications, we are currently looking for a proactive communicative person, with good coordination and mentoring skills for the position of Informatica Power Center Consultant.
This professional opportunity has been created within the group of companies which is present worldwide and focuses its activities on both innovation and quality products and services offered.
The main mission that you have as Informatica Power Center Consultant: follow-up, design and implementation using Informatica 8.6 or 9. After a pilot period during which you will have the opportunity to work in Brussels for six months, this activity will require your mentoring skills. More specifically, being afterwards located in Bucharest, you will provide supervision and professional development for 2 persons in the process of knowledge assimilation and skills development in working in the IT field.
Requirements:
We invite you to join the Pentalog team. In this sense, you can see below the specific requirements for this position:
- Graduate from a faculty of Cybernetics, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc.;
- Good knowledge of ETL Informatica Power Center 8.6 or 9 – minimum 1-2 years of professional experience;
- A very good level of knowledge in working with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server …) – minimum 3 years of professional experience;
- Experience in starting and developing IT projects;
- Previous experience in developing stored procedures;
- Knowledge of data flow management principles;
- Physical data modeling knowledge is a plus;
- Advanced English level; French or Dutch is a plus;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Team spirit, proactive attitude, curiosity.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the project architect in generating solutions and the system design;
- Define the system components (ex. Databases, user interface), outline the responsibilities, the operations, the attributes and the relations between the components;
- Provide the necessary data as input to solutions feasibility studies and the validation of these studies;
- Monitoring the successful implementation of the system components: the review of the software code and of the unit’s testing elements;
- Design Documentation -its composition and constant update;
- Active participation in POC development (Proof of Concepts) for portal solution;
- Support the test teams in the analysis of potential errors;
- Configuration Management for the project results placement.
