Romania-Iasi: JAVA Project Manager (RIAS388)
Job description :
Pentalog agency from Iasi has doubled its number of employees in 2009 and will be moving in the beginning of 2010 in new offices for its extension and development.
Several JAVA/J2EE projects will start by the end of this year, for which we are looking JAVA developers and Project Managers.
As JAVA Project Manager, you will be responsible of:
- Specifying needs and realization the specifications for new projects;
- Participation in architecture defining and proposal of technical solutions;
- Planning management and resources to achieve projects;
- Identifying and solving various technical and functional problems related to the projects;
- Making plans tests to ensure quality development in accordance with the requirements set;
- Quality assurance, in partnership with the operating teams;
- Assurance of a change management related with the developed projects.
Requirements :
- Graduate of an IT faculty and at least 5 years experience in analysis and development of JAVA/J2EE software applications
- English or French – mandatory
- Excellent functional abilities of project management
- Rigor, methodology and teamwork
- Excellent communication abilities both written and oral
Skills and competencies required :
- Technologies: JAVA/J2EE, Struts/JSF, Spring, JBoss SEAM, ORM (EJB 3, Hibernate), XML, Ajax/JavaScript (optional: SWING, SWT, SOAP, XSLT)
- Application servers: Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere Application Server
- Databases: Oracle, MySQL, (optional: PostGreSQL, SQL Server)
- Analysis methods: UML (optional: Merise, RUP)
- Development environments: Eclipse/IntelliJ/NetBeans, CVS/SVN, Ant, (optional: XDoclet, WSAD)
