The company has the headquarters in Germany and is present through it’s offices in 11 countries and over 4 continents.
For it’s solutions of billing and customer care systems, our client is now looking for a Web Ergonomics Specialist.
The opening is created inside a Pentalog team of usability engineers, designed to perform and manage the usability activities according to the user-centered design.
This relative recent approach spans the entire product life cycle, from user research during the early planning and development phases to the final release of a product. Valued for it’s benefits, this tool can save money, improve competitive position and improve customer loyalty.
Considering this context, a new self-motivated, creative and responsible person is expected to join the projects. The main objective will be to transform the results provided by the usability engineers into professional user interface design and to ensure a proper communication and work flow between this two phases of the entire process: designing and implementation.
Your responsibilities:
- Design and specify user interactions for LHS product applications;
- Communicate designs through mockups and interactive prototypes;
- Work with usability engineers to translate findings from user research and validate your design;
- Explain and promote new interface guidelines and design patterns;
- Drive product designs from visual design to implementation;
- Stay informed of advances in interactive techniques, technologies and methods, and adapting to rapidly evolving industry space.
Your profile:
- A technical background in Computer Science with skills in software prototyping is highly desirable;
- Web development skills and experience;
- Minimum 3 ans experience in creating and developing IHM web;
- Ability to deliver interaction designs directly in HTML and CSS;
- Control of prototyping and development tools: AXURA, Visio, Dreamweaver, GWT, Flex, Silverlight
- Advanced understanding of and experience with user-centered interaction design principles;
- Strong ability to look at problems from user, designer and developer point of view;
- Excellent English writing skills and clear verbal communicator;
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and be proactive;
- Team player attitude and attention to details.
