Romania: Java/J2EE Specialists (RRO524)
The fact that our team has increased with over 100 new specialists this year, may give you an image of the Pentalog business activity. We are proud to see that our clients decide to expand ongoing projects, to trust us with new challenging missions and to recommend us on the market towards other relevant business players from different domains.
Due to our results, we are currently expanding our Java team in order to respond to the new needs of our partner – an international leader, well-known fragrance producer.
For this new project we are looking for 5 Java passionate experts who have a very good knowledge of OOP: Spring, Hibernate, Eclipse and Oracle / MySQL database. The team will have the following structure:
- 1 Java Project Manager
- 3 Java Developers
- 1 Application Tester
The main objective is to develop a new tool which supports data transfer in order to streamline the production. We would like to welcome passionate persons in our team, who are motivated to reach quality results and who understand the balance between rigor and creativity.
The job openings are available in one of our Pentalog Romania agencies from Bucuresti, Brasov, Iasi, Sibiu.
Requirements :

Java Project Manager – in this role you must have already gathered at least 3 years of experience in coordinating people and projects, as you will play an important role in:
- Architecture design
- Writing technical specifications
- Software development and testing
- Preparing reports
- Maintaining a close contact with the client throughout the entire project
- Ensuring that the time, quality and volume parameters are being met.
Java Developer – for this job you will make good use of your more 3 years previous programming experience. You know that your team will rely on you for the design, development and constant optimization of the application.
- You master OOP related languages and technologies such as: JAVA / J2EE, JSF, Spring, JBoss SEAM, ORM (EJB 3, Hibernate), XML, Ajax / JavaScript (optional: SWING, SWT, SOAP, XSLT)
- You also have strong knowledge of at least one of the following development environments: Eclipse/IntelliJ/NetBeans, CVS / SVN, Ant.
Application Tester – the person who will occupy this position in our team must have a full understanding of Java applications. Your mission will be to verify and advise future actions based on the testing results. Therefore, your main strong points must be:
- Manual and automatized testing – using Bug-tracking system: JIRA, Mantis, etc
- Conceiving the testing plan and writing the testing charts
- Writing test results reports.
