Job description:
In June 2008 Pentalog announced the launch of a big project in Romania, on the development of solutions for the mobile communication industry.
It was for the first time that one of the first 3 wireless semiconductors producers in the world had chosen to outsource its development activity to Romania.
With a solid experience in the telecom field, our client chose the creative engineers of Pentalog to improve its solutions for all working levels of mobile equipments: from the upper level of the communication protocols until the physical level of data transmission. The importance is given to the high level of integration together with an optimal strength of data processing, on a mature and robust hardware base.
To reinforce the solution maintaining team, Pentalog is looking for Protocols experts in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city
Requirements:
- Graduated from Electronics and Telecommunications, Automatics, Computing
- Languages: Embedded C, C, Assembler
- Good knowledge of microcontroller architecture: the organization and mode of operation, interfacing, system interruption, registry, pipelining
- Experience in developing modules: data management, Mobility Management, Radio Resources, Communication Control
- Good knowledge in the architecture of communication systems: GSM / GPRS / EDGE / UMTS layer 2 (LAPDM) and grade 3
- Having knowledge in 3GPP standard: 4.07, 4.08, 4.64 and 4.65 (http://www.3gpp.org/ftp/Specs/html-info/04-series.htm)
- Experience with the operating system real-time
- English is a must, French is a plus
- Minimum 3 years experience in the telecommunications
Tasks:
- Maintenaning and repairing 2G solutions
- Implementing new 2G functionalities
- Improving solutions
- Answer the client’s questions about the developmenet of intergration solutions
– Support for the client in intergration solutions
- Training for the skill transfer on other development platforms of the client (in other countries)
