bullet Job description: Pentalog Vietnam launches a new client-project. Our client is an European developer of equipment for distribution of video over IP networks (TV deployments on ADSL box, Internet, mobile).

In order to assure the quality of this equipment, we are looking for R&D test engineers.

Responsibilities:

- Manual testing VOD/nPVR server, DVB-IP gateway, and other video broadcasting servers
- Writing test cases for manual testing those servers from specification documents
- Setting up testing environment based on Ubuntu Linux machine, such as:
+ installing a sofware packet on linux
+ setting up a http server or a syslog server
+ writing a small shell script for parsing syslog on servers
+ setting up those servers to build a LAN network for a specific test
- Automatically testing VOD/nPVR server, DVB-IP gateway, and other video broadcasting servers, by
+ writing auto scripts from test cases using Python, testerman and TTCN-3 language
+ runing scritps to test those servers

bullet Requirement:

Justifying of a significant experience in software testing, you are curious and know how to work independently. You are able to imagine and create test cases for new products or prototypes.

Skills required:

- Linux using and administrating skill (2 years – intermediate) (required)
- Linux shell or Python or PHP programing skill (2 years – intermediate) (required)
- TCP/IP understanding (intermediate) (required)
- MPEG/DVB (optional)
- C/C++ with Linux
- Good knowledge of English (specially � technical, writing)
- Good knowledge of French is an advantage.
