Job description:
Pentalog Brasov is looking for a Senior Network & Unix/Linux Administrator, capable of resolving Level 3/4 incidents.
Requirements:
UNIX/LINUX
- OS installation, Kernel configuration
- OpenSource Software compilation and installation (gcc, cc)
- Perl/Shell Scripting (MUST)
- User, Group and File System management skills, ACLs
- Network services, NFS, NIS, DNS, Samba
- Web Servers, Apache/PHP, Tomcat, JBoss
- Mail Server, Qmail, Postfix, ZIMBRA
- Database Servers, MySql, Postgresql, Oracle
- Troubleshooting and performance tuning at OS and service level
- OS Virtualization, Vmware/ESX, XEN
- Knowledge of RAID (0,1,1+0,3,5)
- External Storage knowledge, SAN/NAS, IBM DS3200/DS300
NETWORK
- Remote support, KVM, DRAC, ALOM, HMC, RSA, AMM, ILO
- Monitoring tools, Nagios, Netsaint, MRTG, Cacti
- Network Security, VPN/Firewall (Linux & hardware appliances), Proxy, IDS/IPS
- Advanced switching, VLAN, STP, Trunking, Stacking
- Advanced Routing, QoS, Bandwitdh Management
- Network and Unix/Linux certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral, are essential.
