Moldova-Chisinau: Java/J2EE programming internship (RCHI286)
Internship description :
Pentalog is forming young programmers in the development of Java applications. In 2008 over 60 interns belong to Pentalog and around 70% of them where hired permanently at the end of the internship.
The standard internship is remunerated and it takes place for 3 months, part-time, during of which the intern is instructed and he works independently or on a team with others interns on research and development project, under the guidance of the Technical Director. The next series of internships in Java/J2EE programming starts in Chisinau in May/June 2009. For this series we have 3 available jobs.
The interns are selected after a selection process (CV and an interview), which includes abilities tests. The ideal candidates are students (at least 2nd year) in one of the following profiles: Computers, Automatics, Informatics, Cybernetics, Mathematics, Electronics, and Telecommunications etc.
At the end of the program, it will take place a basic evaluation, on which it can be decided the hiring in the Pentalog team, in the Department of Architecture and Development of Solutions Java/J2EE.
Minimum requirements :
- Good informatics knowledge, good results at the faculty
- Basic knowledge in object oriented programming
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL
- Knowledge of Java syntax, the concepts about the J2EE specifications is an advantage
- Knowledge of an architecture and design patterns for the Web solutions and/or Client-Server represents an advantage
- English or French – advanced – mandatory
Skills acquired during the internship :
- Practical experience in developing Web and/or Client-Server applications
- Knowledge in Java architecture and design patterns implementation
- Company environment: joining a team, communicating with co-workers and clients, improving knowledge related to a real project
