Moldova-Chisinau: Software Tester Internship (RCHI376)
Internship description:
Within his Internships Program, Pentalog is training young software testers. In 2008, over 60 interns were a part of Pentalog’s Internships Program and around 70% of them were hired permanently at the end of the internship.
The standard internship is paid and is Full-time (Monday to Friday – 8 hours/day) for a 4 months period, during of which the intern is instructed and he works independently or in a team with other interns within a research and developing project, under the guidance of the Technical Director. The next series of internships in software testing begins in Chisinau in September/October 2009. For this series we have 1 available position.
The interns are chosen after a preselection (CV and interview) which includes skills tests. The ideal candidates are students in the final year (or graduates) with one the following profiles: Computers, Automatics, Informatics, Cybernetics, Mathematics, Electronics, Telecommunications etc.
Minimum requirements:
- A good knowledge in informatics, good results during the studies
- Understanding of products’s functional specifications, life cycle of an IT project
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Communicative, flexible, dynamic person and with desire to know
- French – mandatory
- English or German – an advantage
Skills acquired during the internship:
- Practical experience in testing methodology of software applications
- Practical experience in utilization of adequate tools in quality assurance of software applications
- The enterprise environment: teamwork, communications with colleagues and clients
