Romania-Brasov, Sibiu: Junior C Developer Internship (RBRA356)
Internship description:
Within his Internships Program, Pentalog is training young programmers in the development of C applications under Real-Time Operating Systems. In 2008, over 60 interns were a part of Pentalog’s Internships Program and around 70% of them were hired permanently at the end of the internship.
The standard internship is paid and is for a 3 months period, during of which the intern is instructed and he works independently or in a team with other interns within a research and developing project, under the guidance of the Technical Director. The next series of internships in C programming starts in september 2009. The Internships Program is a flexible one. The starting dates may vary. For this series we have 10 available positions.
The interns are chosen after a selection (CV and interview) which includes skills tests. The ideal candidates are students (at least 3rd year) or graduates with one the following profiles: Computers, Automatics, Informatics, Cybernetics, Mathematics, Electronics, Telecommunications etc.
At the end of the internship it will take place an evaluation upon which it can be decided the hiring of the intern in the Pentalog’s team, in the Architecture and Developing Department of solutions for industrial informatics.
Minimum requests:
- A good knowledge in informatics, good results during the studies
- Good theoretical and practical knowledge in C programming
- Theoretical knowledge of an application testing
- English – medium/advanced level – mandatory
- French – an advantage
Skills acquired during the internship:
- Practical experience in developing C applications under Real-Time Operating Systems
- Testing experience (unit testing, integration testing) – RTRT (Rational Test RealTime)
- The enterprise environment: teamwork, communications with colleagues and clients, thoroughgoing study of the exigency of a real project
