Romania-Brasov: VB/Access Junior Developer Internship (RBRA379)
Internship description:
Within his Internships Program, Pentalog is training young programmers in the development of Web applications. In 2008, over 60 interns were a part of Pentalog’s Internships Program and around 70% of them were hired permanently at the end of the internship.
In the present, the SIL department of Pentalog is recruiting an intern who will be a part of the developing team of internal applications. Under the guidance of a Project Manager, you will participate in researching and developing internal projects, an excellent opportunity to put into practice the good theoretical knowledge that you have.
The standard internship is paid and is Full-time (Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day), for a 3 months period, with the possibility of hiring the intern at the end of it.
The interns are chosen after a selection: CV, skills tests and an interview. The ideal candidates are students in the final year or graduates with one of the following profiles: Computers, Automatics, Informatics, Cybernetics, Mathematics, Electronics, Telecommunications etc.
At the end of the internship it will take place an evaluation upon which it can be decided the hiring of the intern in the Pentalog’s team, in the SIL department of Pentalog.
Minimum requirements:
- A good knowledge in informatics, good results during the studies
- Good knowledge in OOP
- Basic knowledge in working with Visual Basic, MS Access
- Good abilities of communication and desire to learn
- English – mandatory
- French – an advantage
Skills acquired during the internship:
- Practical experience in developing Web and/or Client-Server applications
- Experience in developing VB/Access applications
- Teamwork, communications with colleagues and clients, thoroughgoing study of the exigency of a real project
