Romania-Sibiu, Bucharest: Embedded C/C++ Developer Internship (RRO483)
Internship description:
Continuing the tradition of preparing young IT professionals in different areas of expertise, Pentalog opens a series of internships in the agencies from Sibiu and Bucharest. We launch this challenge to ambitious, curious, responsible people, interested in development during some interesting projects in Telecom 2G/3G and Embedded Systems Development.
Along with a team of over 50 people involved in a large and interesting project, you will have the opportunity to learn and to work with passionate professionals on the development of embedded applications. Following a training phase, you will carry out activities independently or in a team with other interns on a research and development project under the guidance of a Project Manager.
The internship is paid and it’s Full-Time (Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day) over a period of 3 months.
The interns are chosen following a selection process that includes: solving aptitude tests (IQ and C) and interview.

What will you learn?
- Practical experience in firmware developing and/or software applications in C and/or Assembler;
- You will gain new knowledge in the areas of embedded systems and telecommunications;
- The company environment: integrating into a team, communicating with colleagues and clients, deepening demands associated to a real project.
What will you be able to do after the internship?
At the end of the internship, it will be an evaluation that can decide the hiring of the intern in the Pentalog team in the architecture department and solution development for industrial computing.
Essential conditions in order to participate to the internship:
- The ideal candidates are in the last year or graduates of one of the following faculties: Automation, Electronics, Computers, Informatics, Mathematics or Telecommunications;
- Telecommunications knowledge or the experience on a similar position is an advantage;
- Computer literate, good results during their studies;
- Basic knowledge of Object Oriented Programming;
- Notions of embedded development, knowledge of certain development environments and simulators specific to low-level programming is an asset;
- English is mandatory and a good level of French and/or German is considered an asset.
