Vietnam-Hanoi: Java/J2EE programming internship (RHAN019)

bullet Intern Programme Description:

Pentalog group’s policy is to invest into young IT engineers with a view to building qualified resources for company. For Pentalog Vietnam, we’re forming young programmers in the development of Java applications. In 2008 over 60 trainees have joined Pentalog and around 70% of them were hired permanently at the end of the internship.

The standard internship is remunerated and it takes place for 3 months, full time or part-time, during of which the trainee is instructed and he/she will work independently or among a team with others trainees on research and development project, under the guidance of the Technical Director. The next internships in Java/J2EE programming start in Hanoi in April/may 2009, and we have 2 available positions.

The trainees are selected after a selection process (CV and an interview), which includes abilities tests. The ideal candidates are students (at the final year) in one of the following profiles: Computers, Automatics, Informatics, Cybernetics, Mathematics, Electronics, and Telecommunications etc. English is mandatory, French is a plus.

At the end of the program, it will take place a basic evaluation, on which it can be decided the hiring in the Pentalog team, in the Department of Architecture and Development of Solutions Java/J2EE.

bullet Minimum requirements:

- Good informatics knowledge, good results at the faculty
- Basic knowledge in object oriented programming
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL
- Knowledge of Java syntax, the concepts about the J2EE specifications is an advantage
- Knowledge of an architecture and design patterns for the Web solutions and/or Client-Server represents an advantage
- English or French – advanced – mandatory

bullet Skills acquired during the internship:

- Practical experience in developing Web and/or Client-Server applications
- Knowledge in Java architecture and design patterns implementation
- Company environment: joining a team, communicating with co-workers and clients, improving knowledge related to a real project
- Having allowance
